Awards Ceremony of 72nd Raid Pavia – Venice, an epic journey 414 km long

The Raid Pavia Venice is much more than a race: it is a journey into the history of Motorboating, a living story that has crossed rivers, territories and generations for 96 years. An event that has managed to preserve its pioneering soul over time, becoming a symbol of passion for the river and the spirit of adventure.

From 1929 to today, the Raid has seen legendary champions compete, such as Dino Zantelli, winner of eight editions and holder of the still unbeaten record, Renato Molinari, Fabio Buzzi and Antonio Petrobelli, but also protagonists from other worlds, attracted by the unique charm of the challenge: Andrea Bonomi, Adriano Panatta, Alessandro Benetton, Clay Regazzoni, Christian Ghedina and Thierry Sabine, creator and organizer of the Paris-Dakar.

What makes the Raid special is its ability to speak to everyone: many participate not for the ambition to win, not for the pure challenge of speed, but just for the pleasure of being there, to be able to say “I was there”, to live an experience out of the ordinary, where sport, nature, technique and passion blend into a single, unforgettable crossing.
