Traditional Sailing Boat Models in Action

An event presented by the Vela al Terzo Association.

Fabio Gherardi, a builder of working model boats, will demonstrate that even the most intricate “Vela al Terzo” rig can be remote-controlled.

Three radio-controlled boats will sail within the Careening Basin. These models are faithful reproductions of his “Batelo a Pisso.” There will be an explanation of how the models work at the stand, followed by demonstrations in the waters of the Middle Basin.
