The Biodiversity Science Gateway in Venice

CNR ISMAR is organizing the public event “The Biodiversity Science Gateway in Venice” during the Venice Boat Show from May 29th to June 2nd. Admission is by reservation via email at [email protected].

The event is part of the #FestaEuVenezia2024 – Festival of Europe in Venice 2024 which takes place from May 3 to 31 as a sign of the Europeanist nature of the City of Venice. The great Venetian event, now in its 12th edition with the title “Rights to Vote” in view of the European elections in June, is the result of collaboration between the Municipality of Venice – Europe Direct, the Council of Europe – Venice Office, the European Parliament – Milan Office, and the European Commission – Representation in Milan.

The event aims to commemorate the two most significant historical dates for Europe: May 5, 1949, the founding of the Council of Europe through the Treaty of London, and May 9, 1950, the birth of the European Union with the “Schuman Declaration” on the occasion of the Paris speech.
