Conference “NAUTICO – The School with the Boat Show”

The project “NAUTICO – The School at the Boat Show,” organized by Vento di Venezia, was created to offer students from Venetian high schools a concrete opportunity for professional and educational growth through the Transversal Skills and Orientation Pathways (P.C.T.O.).

Now in its fifth edition, the project actively involves students in training experiences during the Venice Boat Show, working alongside the Docking team of VdV s.r.l. in mooring assistance operations and technical services for the exhibited boats.

Launched in 2021 in collaboration with I.I.S. Vendramin Corner and previously also with the Francesco Morosini Naval Military School, the initiative has already involved many students, some of whom continued their experience through seasonal work contracts.

For the 2025 edition as well, about 30 students will be engaged at the Venice Arsenal and Venezia Certosa Marina, where they will acquire skills including seamanship, safety procedures, English language, and teamwork.
