SciVoga competition – Finecobank trophy

Now in its fifth year, the SciVoga competition consists of two events. The first took place on March 22 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, on the Col Gallina slope, where athletes competed in a giant slalom on Olympic-quality snow, putting their technique and speed to the test as they vied for the FinecoBank Trophy. The second leg of the challenge will take place on May 31 at the Arsenale in Venice, on the Rio delle Galeazze, as part of the seventh edition of the Venice Boat Show. Here, four athletes from each team will compete in a spectacular Venetian-style rowing race, which will award the Alilaguna Trophy. The final combined ranking will be determined by the sum of the individual times from the ski race and the total time recorded in the rowing race. The event is organized by the Yacht Club Venezia in collaboration with the Yacht Club Cortina d’Ampezzo, Remiera Casteo, and Sci Club Mestre.
