Over the last twenty years the port area of Venice, Marittima and San Basilio, has undergone a profound transformation. It has seen a complete redevelopment of its port structures with the progressive and definitive replacement of commercial port traffic with that of cruise ships, which are considered more compatible with the needs of the Ancient city.
The Boat Show is an excellent opportunity to illustrate, through a photographic exhibition, this important redevelopment project which has transformed the old historic commercial port of Marittima into a multi-purpose and avant-garde structure, recognized as one of the most efficient cruise terminals in the world.
