The 68th Regatta of the Ancient Italian Maritime Republics will take place in Venice, Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3th, 2023, preceeded by a pageantry of historical pageantry that is the central moment of the entire event. It will be televised live on Rai 2.

The program includes a series of events culminating on Saturday, June 3, with the Regatta in St. Mark’s Basin, over the distance of two thousand meters, between the four crews representing each of the Republics: Pisa, Venice, Amalfi and Genoa.

Friday, June 2

• 5 p.m.,Historical Procession: parade of costumed delegations from Pisa, Amalfi, Genoa, Venice – from St. Mark’s Square along the Riva degli Schiavoni and up to the Arsenal
• 6:30 p.m. Women’s/mixed crews regatta (1000-meter course)
• 7:30 p.m. Women’s/Mixie crews regatta awards ceremony and Palio Repubbliche Marinare crews presentation ceremony.

Saturday, June 3

• 6 p.m., St. Mark’s Basin: 68th Regatta of the Ancient Italian Maritime Republics (distance 2,000 meters)
